ASEAN SUMMIT 2014
Emirates has significantly bolstered its presence in Southeast Asia with the introduction of a new daily linked service connecting Dubai to Yangon (RGN) in Myanmar, and onward to Hanoi (HAN) in Vietnam. This expansion, facilitated by a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, extends the airline's network in Southeast Asia to 12 cities across seven countries, providing passengers with increased choices and convenience when traveling between Hanoi and Yangon to Dubai and beyond. Notably, Yangon marks Emirates' inaugural destination within Myanmar, underscoring its strategic importance as the country's largest city and primary commercial hub, contributing approximately one-fifth of the nation's GDP. Renowned for its rich cultural heritage and burgeoning tourism industry, Myanmar has witnessed a surge in foreign tourist arrivals, further accentuating the significance of this new service.
To commemorate these landmark occasions, MEMC took pride in providing comprehensive event management services, organizing three distinct events: the Emirates Product Presentation Event, Emirates Airlines Inaugural Flight Event, and the Gala Dinner. Each event served as a testament to the airline's commitment to enhancing connectivity and fostering positive relations within the region.
